The Yardimci Corporation is a well established ship-owning and ship-building corporation which was founded by Sevket Yardimci in 1976. The Yardimci Corporation has been connected with shipping since the turn of the century and is committed to the continuation of this tradition. The trading and shipping history of the Group goes back to the early 1900's in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Today, the corporation has a number of business investments; however our core activity still remains shipbuilding. The corporation owns and manages a fleet of Multipurpose Container Ships, Bulk Carriers and Chemical Tankers. Alongside this, the group also owns nine vessels which have an average age of five years. The ship management division is ISO 9001:2000 certified and employs professionals of highest.

One of our other main accomplishments is our investment in the technical management of fleets both domestic and foreign.

The Yardimci Corporation also own two modern shipyards - Yardimci and Turkter Shipyards, which are fully equipped with the latest standards of technology, productivity and safety levels. Our shipyards receive order books both from domestic and foreign customers and are experiencing a high level of activity and efficiency. Presently our order books are full until about 2012.

Alongside these, our corporation is also the proud partner and owner of a very successful and on the rise dry-docking investment. In collaboration with our equal partner, Gemsan Shipyard, we have formed a repair & conversion company named Yardgem Shipping Inc. which owns two floating docks and specializes in dry-docking, repairing and maintenance of vessels up to Panamax size tonnage.
